The beauty of God's creation

Beautiful day here in Flagstaff, AZ.  We are headed to the Grand Canyon this morning...the temperature is  50, glad we brought warm clothes.

Blue has been studying all night about Arizona and he’s excited.

We are about 56 miles from the park, but the scenery on the drive is spectacular.

Sometimes I feel like I’m in a bowl because all you can see is sky and desert all around you as far as you can see....beautiful.

We haven’t seen that many birds here. In OK, we saw hawks everywhere, but here just ravens.

We’ve seen the remains of volcanoes, lava rocks and cinders, here and in New Mexico.
San Francisco volcanic field

We are in Navajo Nation now.  Coming up, we can see a Navajo flea market..... we are going to stop just to see what they have,  looks like jewelry and it is.  Beautiful handmade Navajo Indian jewelry, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, everything.

Daniel bought me a necklace from this elderly Navajo lady....she was so sweet.

Here's my necklace, love it!  Thank you, my sweet husband.  :)

I really don't understand why the Navajo have to live in such conditions in one of the most spectacular places on earth.

We love the clouds here in Arizona......

We are arriving at the Grand Canyon, can't wait!!!!!

God created the heaven and the earth.  My words definitely cannot describe the beauty here, so I'm not even going to try. You will see for yourself in our pictures.  You can double-click to enlarge some of these pictures.

Happy Easter everyone, hope you have a wonderful day.
